Outback hooded barbecues, probably the best choice for a wide range of cooking, grilling and baking. A barbecue with a roasting hood allows you to cook anything and even bake a cake, with the hood down you can set the internal temperature of the barbecue like you would your kitchen oven.

With the internal temperature set you can create wonderful dishes from large joints of meat to low and slow pulled pork and even biscuits and cakes. The temperature is set and often when cooking large joints or poultry you would cook over an unlit burner with each adjacent burner on, this method is referred to as "indirect" cooking, this method allows you to keep a consistent internal temperature for cooking without burning your food. Outback hooded barbecues are fitted with temperature gauges on the hood so that you can be as precise as possible.

Most professional and seasoned grillers will only use a hooded barbecue, you can always lift the hood should you want to do vegetables or cook the Sunday breakfast!!
