Outback 'Comet Sear' Gas Barbecue
A combination of innovative design with precision engineering sees the launch of the latest hot property in the fresco cooking, The Outback Comet Sear, complete with a sear burner to provide that touch of magic to your cooking.
The sear provides instant heat at the touch of the Comet Sear ignition switch, when the ceramic burner hits in with more than twice the heat output compared to a conventional burner, as the heat spreads evenly across the contact surface.
This enables you to seal-in all your meat flavours, as well as providing that extra professional touch with a 'criss-cross' effect, the end result - a crunchy exterior with a soft inside...perfect every time.
Maximum red hot heat is reached after two minutes, after which your steak can be turned 90 degrees for the charcoaled effect, flipped over and then simply placed on the main grill for the desired taste finish.
Naturally the Comet Sear includes a host of other features you would expect from a premium Outback barbecue, take a look at the Comet BBQ and treat yourself... |
Outback 'Plancha' Hot Plate Barbecue
The Plancha is a completely new and revolutionary addition to the Outback range, introducing a technique traditionally used in the Japanese style of Teppanyaki cuisine - 'teppan' meaning iron plate and 'yaki' referring to grilled.
Flat-top grills, or planchas are also traditionally used in France, Spain, South America and Cuba, Outback has combined the best of all worlds to provide a platform for cooking a variety of steaks, chops, chicken, fish, shellfish and vegetables or even fruit!
The non-stick porcelain enamelled cast iron plate needs the merest drizzle of oil, and the powerful gas burners below ensure the surface can reach the highest temperatures to provide great tasting foods in a matter of minutes.
Make your own selections to cook rows of your own-choice food, each retaining it's original taste, while the Plancha plate's raised edges keep everything in place - and any waste fat or grease is collected in a removable tray beneath. Available soon. |
